The Center of the Universe is a lifestyle that invites visitors and locals alike to "try slow" and live in the now.
True, there are moments when it's just a lake, however there are moments when it feels like you are surfing in the ocean.
While we were filming, we often found ourselves alone, wading in the water, just hoping that a big enough bump would come so that we could surf it.
Despite finding ourselves alone, we found that sometimes the best resolve to life’s challenges is to simply get away from it all, and sometimes that moment of solitude is all you need to help solve life’s problems.
If there was one thing that we learned from filming the COTU, it's this:
"I used to believe that you had to travel to beautiful places in order to be inspired or for a location to change your life, but that’s changed.
Hundreds of people, if not more drive past this beach everyday, but only a few stop to admire what it has to offer. Granted, it’s not the ocean, but it offers the same healing power."
